Jeff Probst promises finale surprises, says he doesn’t want another all-stars.
As Survivor All-Stars barrels toward what seems to be an inevitable final four, and final two, Jeff Probst promises lots of drama for the final two episodes. He says that this series contains “the most honest and emotional final tribal council that we’ve had since the first season, because they were friends and because there were a lot of hurt feelings.” The promos on CBS that tease a huge surprise for Sunday’s show. Jam Showbiz recaps some of the spoilers or guesses about that surprise. Jeff won’t say what it is, but promises “a pretty good reveal on the live show. We’re going to share something on that show that I think is certainly significant, completely unexpected, and we’ll have people talking.” The New York Daily News also reports that Jeff doesn’t want to do another all-stars edition of the show: “All-Stars was a fun experiment, but I would vote to never do it again. I think the game is better played by strangers. … I’m ready for new people. I think it’s going to be a new type of game. Maybe we’ll get back to a unique approach to the game, rather than trying to emulate people.”
