The generally unflappable and infallible Jeff Probst admits he screwed up last week’s Survivor All-Stars immunity challenge, which ultimately led to Richard Hatch’s dismissal. The moment in question involves Rob and Colby’s face-off. According to the New York Post, “Rob and Colby grappled for their flags and tumbled into the water together in a big blur. With the naked eye, it appeared that Colby hit the water first. … But a frame-by-frame analysis reveals that Rob’s foot actually hit the water a split second before Colby’s arm.” Jeff said Rob won. Now, he says, “They’re often judgment calls. This is one I just blew.” But, he says, it basically doesn’t matter, because he is god: “Part of the rules and the contract [the contestants] sign is that during the challenges I’m the sole arbiter and final call.”
