Mark Burnett says he wasn’t “thrilled” about Richard’s unexpected nudity.
Mark Burnett tells the AP that Richard Hatch’s naked ass on Survivor All-Stars wasn’t planned or amusing: “How could I be thrilled to look at that every day? I wasn’t thrilled.” He also lies, I mean, says, “Didn’t hope, didn’t care. You know, but it happened. I don’t have expectations. I just know, this game of social psychology makes itself.” Of course, if that were true, the editing bay wouldn’t be overusing the blurry spot. Burnett, master of metaphors, compares his role in the show to that of a chef: “It’s like a cake. You put the ingredients. You put it in the oven, turn it to 350 or whatever and it cooks.” Richard, by the way, is being sought by a Michigan town for being “in violation of the township’s blight law,” according to the Herald-Palladium. That’s not for baring his nipples during the family hour, but because there’s a burned-out house on property he owns there.
