Survivor All Stars

33 million watched All-Stars debut.

33 million watched All-Stars debut.
The first episode of Survivor All-Stars, which repeats tonight, was, as CBS brags, “the fourth highest rated episode of SURVIVOR ever” with 33.27 million viewers. That’s impressive, until you realize that the last half hour of the Super Bowl was watched by almost 99 million people. Thus, during the post-game crap, CBS lost 66 million viewers. USA TODAY notes that the show began “35 minutes later than the 2001 edition.” Overall, that was 27 percent fewer than the 45.4 million people who stuck around for the post-Super Bowl Survivor Australia.
