After doing everything in its power to drag out the post-game show and ram in a few hundred thousand commercials, CBS finally debuted Survivor All-Stars last night at about 10:52 p.m. ET. By the time the show was over around midnight, Survivor Australia winner Tina Wesson had been booted from her tribe during a rainy tribal council in a tree house. Her fellow non-winner tribe members argued that the winners had to go because they’d already won, but her eviction might be explained by Jeff Probst’s comment that Tina was “the most competitive person maybe ever on ‘Survivor.’” Earlier in the episode, Richard Hatch’s near-instantaneous nudity was easily outshined by Justin Timberlake’s completely, surely accidental baring of one of Janet Jackson’s breasts during the half-time show, which CBS and MTV have apologized for, but which Matt Drudge says “[t]op CBS executives approved.”
