Past Survivor cast members—including, SurvivorNews.net reports—Survivor Pearl Islands’ Rupert and the first season’s winner Richard Hatch—are in Panama for the much-anticipated all-star season, which started taping this week. Of those cast members who demanded things to participate in the all-star edition, host Jeff Probst says, “Well they can stay the fuck home.” But he predicts it will “be really kick ass” because “there are some people who are coming to PLAY THIS GAME and it should be fun.” Meanwhile, the film Jeff wrote and directed, Finders Fee, is now out on DVD. Discussing the film (and the show) with DVDTalk, Jeff reveals that he’s writing a book about the series. He also reveals that he has time to write and even edit on location; he says “[i]t is a good environment creatively, especially because you have no distractions, you only have the show to focus on and so when things are settled … I’m in a room with no interruptions and you can do whatever you want—read or write.”
