Right before the Survivor Africa jury and finalists gathered on stage for the final reveal, they were watching the episode, and that’s when Lex says Lindsay revealed to everyone that Lex’s answer was also correct—she, too, had no piercings. He says executive producer Mark Burnett and host Jeff Probst “were immediately sick about it,” and says it “wasn’t my style” to go on the live show and make a scene.
