Samburu lost immunity and had to, for the first time, vote off one of its own members on Survivor Africa. But because of the generational split, the vote—and the revote—were both tied, with equal votes for Carl and Lindsey. Jeff Probst administered a quiz, which Carl lost by answering a question about ticks incorrectly. He left, saying the younger tribe members “are just confused in their life. I am worried about that generation.”
