Richard Hatch insists he’ll be “exonerated,” will return to TV

Despite spending years in prison, from which he was recently released, Survivor Borneo winner insists he’ll be “exonerated,” either legally or just in the public’s perception of him.

Richard Hatch attended Survivor’s 10th anniversary party Saturday, and though he’s tall and I searched for him, I didn’t see him once; I did, however, see Corinne and her breasts multiple times. Alas.

However, After Elton’s Michael Jensen did catch up with Hatch, who told him, “I’m in the midst of being exonerated … for everything. Completely. I didn’t do anything. I am absolutely innocent. And eventually, whether I’m exonerated or not, that will come out.”

He also said that while he was excluded from the season 20 cast because a judge refused to let him go, he’ll be back on TV. “I have projects in the works right now on TV. I’m sure it might have a gay angle,” Hatch said.

Hatch elaborated on the “outright, blatant lies” of the prosecutor in a conversation with the Boston Herald, and said that had he been chosen for the 20th season, “I would have easily wiped the floor with the people chosen.” Clearly, prison has made him humble.
