ArchivesRich found not guilty of assault; lower court’s earlier decision overruled.
The Newport County Superior Court overturned a lower court’s Sept. 24 decision, finding yesterday that Survivor winner Richard Hatch is not guilty of “assaulting his former boyfriend, Glenn Boyanowski, last summer,” according to the Providence Journal. The Superior Court judge found that Boyanowski trespassed on Rich’s property. Rich tells the paper that “this should never have gotten this far,” blaming the lower court’s ruling on “the first judge’s reprehensible lack of objectivity.”
