In a preliminary ruling, a judge threw out two of Mark Burnett and CBS’ breach-of-contract claims. However, the judge did not throw out the defamation claim, so Stacey can still be found guilty of defamation—although her lawyers think that once the judge hears Dirk’s testimony, that claim will be dropped, too.
