Rich’s would-be collaborator on his original book (that was later scrapped) is publishing his own book in November: “Stingray: Lethal Tactics of the Sole Survivor.” Subtitled ”The Inside Story of How the Castaways Were Controlled, on the Island and Beyond,” Peter Lance’s book looks critically and closely at both Rich and the Survivor production, including everything from the contestant’s ridiculous contracts to possible behind-the-scenes manipulation.
