“Survivor whips GOP”; Big Brother overshadows American High.
Wednesday night’s Survivor drew an all-time high of more than 27 million viewers, easily beating the other three networks, which were showing the Republican National Convention. American High’s 4.24 million viewers was easily trounced by Big Brother’s 17.44 million viewers, making the decision to put the new series up against CBS’ other reality TV show seem questionable at best.
