Greek101.com severs product placement ties with Sorority, Frat. Life.
The company that supplied t-shirts and other products with its logo to be whored on Sorority Life 2 and Fraternity Life has “severed [its] relationship” with the shows. Greek101.com says in a statement that the shows did not “seek to highlight the wholesome, philanthropic activities for which the Greek system is well known.” In an interview with the Daily Illini, the company’s co-founder says the “Fraternity Life [is] a ‘blatant misrepresentation’ of greek life.” Their logo has been removed from the credits, but MTV won’t digitally remove the logo in footage because the cost “would be well beyond the financial means of Greek101.com.”
