ArchivesFOX’s quasi-Idol spin-off So You Think You Can Dance ends its up and down run tonight. The show debuted to strong ratings and buzz and then dropped off, although it’s currently doing better than Martha’s Apprentice.
Tonight, either Jamile, Nick, Ashle, or Melody will be declared the winner, receiving $100,000 and a New York apartment from which to start their career. They don’t actually get a job or a contract, but the $100K should keep them off the streets and well-stocked on liquor and hookers. Like American Idol, the winner will be decided based upon viewer votes that followed last week’s final dance-off.
