ArchivesAssault charges against Skating with Celebrities winner and original Buffy the Vampire Slayer Kristy Swanson were dropped by a Canadian prosecutor. The charges followed Kristy’s arrest in June for the alleged assault of her partner’s ex-wife.
“I am thrilled and excited that the charge has been dropped. This never should have happened and our family can move on,” she told the AP.
She began dating her skating partner Lloyd Eisler during production of the series; they now have a child together. The AP notes that in June, “Swanson claimed she was the victim. Swanson said she had accompanied Eisler on a scheduled visit to see his two young children when [Marcia] O’Brien attacked her in front of the children, leaving her with a bruised knee and a scratched arm. No charges were filed against O’Brien.”
