ArchivesBravo has greenlit a pilot episode for a new series starring Tabatha Coffey, one of its Shear Genius contestants, and the new new series sounds exactly like Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares except with hair instead of food.
Tabatha’s Takeover will follow her “as she hits the road to takeover and improve the state of American hair salons, one beauty shop at a time,” according to a Bravo press release. It promises that the “sharp-tongued Australian native brings her no-nonsense approach to a salon in dire need of a makeover” and has “just a week to work her magic.” The series will be produced by Reveille, which also produces Blow Out and The Biggest Loser, among other series.
Bravo is currently casting for salons that would like a makeover, although the casting notice is apparently not yet online. However, the casting notice for the second season of Shear Genius, which was recently renewed, is there.
