Shear Genius

Shear Genius 2 won by Dee after her red eyes gave her win away

The second season of Shear Genius, which saw increased ratings, concluded last night, and Dee Adames won the $100,000 cash prize, plus other sponsored things. Annoying arrogant ass Charlie Price was the runner-up, while Nicole Obert, who’s more than a decade younger than the other two, came in third.

That Dee won was obvious throughout the entire episode, because she was giddy and red-eyed throughout her interviews, which are taped post-elimination. She had clearly been crying, and since she was in such a good mood throughout her interviews, it seemed like a foregone conclusion.

The finalists had three hours to color, cut, and style four women, crafting a story of one woman at different ages via their hair. Dee chose to tell the story of a rock star through her red-haired models. First-season judge Sally Hershberger returned to judge the finale along with Kim Vo, Jaclyn Smith, and Allure’s editor.
