Shark Tank gets record ratings, two more episodes
ABC’s Shark Tank once faced cancellation over its low ratings, but it had its highest ratings yet on Friday, increasing its audience of young, 18-49-year-old people 11 percent compared to the previous week. And now ABC has given the show two additional episodes, for a total of 24 this season.
In its press release, ABC also notes that the show is number-one in its time period for the second season and a row, having increased its audience 13 percent among all viewers and 17 percent among adults 18 to 49.
More importantly, despite embarrassingly bad product placement, the show is creatively stronger than ever, with all six sharks active in engaging entrepreneurs and each other.
