Gilby Clarke says he couldn’t decide between Lukas and Dilana “until the very end”

Rock Star: Supernova band member Gilby Clarke says the selection of Lukas Rossi on Rock Star: Supernova was not a foregone conclusion, even though a gossip item had Lukas pegged as the winner weeks earlier.

Instead, he tells AOL Music, it came down to their last performances. “[W]hen Lukas came up and sang one of our originals, it just felt so natural to me. In my mind, I was really undecided up until the very end,” he said.

Earlier, he says, “I was always kind of leaning towards Lukas, but I could not ignore the fan reactions that Dilana got. After two or three weeks I started going, ‘This would be so bad-ass for Dilana to front the band.’”
