ArchivesRock Star: INXS will air a special one-hour results show tonight, after which only seven contenders will remain. Perhaps that’s because the Wednesday night results shows have been showing improvement on the series’ low ratings. Last Wednesday’s results show “was up +18% in viewers, +20% in adults 18-34 and +8% in adults 25-54” compared to the week before, CBS said in a release.
In addition, traffic to the show’s MSN web site is growing, although a press release issued to herald the growth offers few details. We know that, so far, the site “has streamed 7.1 million clips of the rockers.” In addition, “[v]oting on MSN continued its consistent week-over-week growth as the show completed its sixth week.”
