Men arrested for stealing Road Rules skull

The cow skull on the front of the Road Rules RV was stolen and not recovered this weekend, although police arrested three men for the crime.

The RV was in San Diego on Friday night—the current season tapes on weekends only—“where three men reportedly pulled off the large skull hood ornament and ran off with it about 9:45 p.m.,” The San Diego Union-Tribune reports. “Some crew members with the traveling show followed the men to Garnet Avenue, where Northern division beach team officers Ron Broussard and Frodente caught up to them.”

Officer Aaron Frodente told the paper that “the head was not recovered.”

The Union-Tribune notes that “officers said the three laughed when asked about the skull and wouldn’t say what they’d done with it.” Three “men, ages 22, 24 and 28, were booked on suspicion of being drunk in public.”
