CBS reality stars join mud run to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer
Cast members from Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Big Brother will run in a mud run 5K that’s open to the public and will benefit Stand Up To Cancer, the charity organization raising money for cancer research.
The Reality Mud Run race will be held Sept. 10 outside of Irvine, Calif., south of Los Angeles, the reality TV star hellmouth. The web site’s participating stars list is very small right now, but includes Phillip Sheppard, Yau-Man Chan, and Eliza Orlins; CBS’ press release said Ethan Zohn, Jenna Morasca, Amanda Kimmel, Burton Roberts, Natalie Tenerelli, Chad Crittenden, Joel Klug; Uchenna Agu, Megan Rickey, Cheynne Whitney, Alex Boylan, Dennis Frentsos, and Will Kirby will also run.
The race is on the course of the Irvine Lake Mud Run. Mud runs and runs with obstacles are becoming increasingly popular. Earlier this year, I did Warrior Dash, which was awesome. If you want to know what running a Survivor challenge is like, sign up for one of these and don’t eat anything except small servings of rice for 10 days before it.
