ArchivesSurvivor’s Jon “Jonny Fairplay” Dalton was hospitalized after being slammed to the stage by Breaking Bonaduce’s Danny Bonaduce during the taping of last night’s Fox Reality Channel awards.
TMZ initially reported that “Bonaduce jumped on stage, picked up ‘Survivor’ star Jonny Fairplay and slammed him on his face, causing him to lose a few teeth and break a toe.” There’s video of Dalton walking to an ambulance, holding a bloody cloth to his face. As a result, “Bonaduce is named as the suspect in a felony battery report,” TMZ said.
But then TMZ talked to Bonaduce, who said Dalton jumped onto him, wrapping his legs and arms around Bonaduce, and Bonaduce flipped Fairplay over his head in self-defense.
Photographs taken at that moment show seem to support Bonaduce’s argument: Fairplay has his legs wrapped around Bonaduce before he gets flipped and slammed to the ground.
“I don’t like him. … I wouldn’t hit someone over it. … I don’t like the guy, but I’m sorry he got hurt,” Bonaduce said.
