In a laughable display of hypocrisy, FOX has objected to parts of a documentary from National Geographic, tentatively titled “Wild Sex.” The network’s standards and practices editor says “‘mounting’ or graphically sexual movements would be problematic,” according to a letter obtained by the Washington Post. Cheryl McDowell tells National Geographic that “since this special is for family viewing, this presents some concerns. Let’s discuss.” At FOX, she writes, “we want to make sure that we do not sensationalize or show explicit sexual activity among our four-legged primates.” Apparently, two-legged primates are okay. That, or she was kept in a lock box or other secured location while Joe Millionaire subtitled oral sex and Paradise Hotel became a big drunken orgy between people with intelligence lower than that of most primates.
