reality Fishbowl site launches today.

reality Fishbowl site launches today.
In a letter to “reality TV fans,” original US Big Brother cast member Josh Souza announces the launch today of a new reality TV-related web site. He writes, “TheFishbowl.com will allow fans access into the world of reality TV that they have never seen … and will allow you, the viewer and online fan, to interact with them on a daily basis through live chats, a live radio show, and message boards.” He also calls the site “the most extensive web site in reality television history,” which some people might take issue with (ahem—four years).

However, sort of like Josh probably forgot about the evening in the house when he “stripped down to his underwear and [danced] about with the broom” and later “put an orange in his pants … dyed his hair blue … passed out on the lawn, and then barfed his guts out several times,” he conveniently forgets to mention that access to the site will be about $100 per year. That’s according to this press release by the company producing it, which says access will be available “for a quarterly subscription fee of $24.95.” The press release also mentions that the site “provides reality show actors with a new outlet for self expression and reality fans entry into the tight community of reality TV stars.”

Okay, one, as if they need more outlets for their self-expression after sucking our lives dry with their appearances on our TVs. Two, if I were Wonkette, I’d make an ass-fucking joke about the second part of the sentence, but I’m not, so I won’t. (But “entry into the tight community”? Please.)
