The gay reality TV world is coalescing in two places. Tonight, at least seven gay reality TV stars will gather at a benefit for HIV/AIDS Research at the City of Hope. Boy Meets Boy’s James and Wes, Reichen from The Amazing Race 4, Genesis and Ruthie from The Real World, and Road Rules Sophia will be on hand, along with two guys from Fear Factor “and many more,” event organizers promise. The event occurs tonight at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood; tickets are $75, or $125 for the 8 to 10 p.m. VIP party with the “stars.” If you want to go, register by 10 a.m. PT. Hurry!… Earlier this week, GLAAD, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, unveiled the nominees for the gayest reality TV shows. Competing in the brand new and totally fabulous Outstanding Reality Program category are The Amazing Race 4, America’s Next Top Model, Boy Meets Boy, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Gauntlet.
