Entertainment Weekly examines how to get on a number of different shows, from The Bachelor 2 to Survivor 6 to The Real World. The magazine talks to producers and casting directors to see what they’re looking for, and details the application process. Among the revealations: The Real World “do[es] heavy recruiting” on college campuses, which probably explains the why the show has featured predominately younger, jobless people for the past few seasons.
