Despite horrible reviews, E! is probably very happy with The Anna Nicole Show, because it debuted with 4 million viewers, making it the network’s highest rated series ever and “the top debut for a reality show on basic cable,” according to Reuters. FOX’s American Idol is also doing well, coming in this week eighth in the ratings for last Tuesday’s episode, which was watched by more than 12 million viewers. Despite being opposite that show, The Mole 2 did extremely well, coming in second during its hour with its largest audience yet, 8.19 million viewers. (See below for word about The Mole 3.) Finally, Big Brother 3 landed in 15th place last week.
