Investigator Peter Lance, who broke the two major stories alleging that reality TV shows were rigged, writes a not-atypical self-important essay about how after Sept. 11, “[t]he allegations of rigging on these shows made them seem even less relevant” to him, so he “was ready to relegate this web site to the parking garage of useless curiosities.” But now he has a new mission, which is investigating TV talk shows. Mark Burnett must be breathing a sigh of relief.
