Will someone die or get seriously hurt on a reality TV show? One network executive said, “But at the end of the day, nothing’s certain about life. Ever.” That seems to suggest that as shows get more extreme and as background checks—especially when performed by CBS and Endemol—fail to turn up vital information, something is bound to happen.
