Salon.com’s Joyce Millman: Survivor #5, Making the Band #10.
Salon.com’s TV critic, Joyce Millman, names Survivor as the fifth best TV show this year, quoting Susan’s final rat/snake speech to Kelly as evidence. Citing “drama queen meltdowns” and a “pear-shaped music industry impresario,” she lets Making the Band squeak in a number 10. Also, Big Brother gets a “dishonorable” mention, and Julie Chen is named “multitasker of the year.”
