On TBS’ forthcoming The Real Gilligan’s Island, Carmen Electra was rumored to be filling the movie star role. However, the real Ginger will actually be Rachel Hunter. A former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model and the soon-to-be-ex-spouse of Rod Stewart, she says that she’s “always wanted to do a reality show, and this was just the perfect adventure.” She tells USA TODAY that “some of the things that happen will absolutely shock people. It’s very unlike what people think of Gilligan’s Island … People will absolutely be entertained.”
