TBS’ The Real Gilligan’s Island ends its short run tonight with a two-hour finale. The show starts at 8 p.m. ET. Still on the island are the Skipper (Jim), Gilligan (Chris), Mary Ann (Kate) and the Millionaires (Stearns). The last Mary Ann standing, Kate Koth, is currently appearing in Maxim, in and very out of her Mary Ann costume. Elsewhere, Professor Eric posts about the show on Outsports (as “Coach Gumby”). He says he was “disappointed” with the series’ structure because “I was hoping that they would put us on an island and challenge us to find a way off.” He also reveals behind-the-scenes secrets. For example, he says that when Skipper Jim collapsed during the first challenge, “I specifically asked ‘can we go back’ but a producer said no and told us to finish. They filmed the ‘victory’ celebration 8 times, against our protests.”
