ArchivesDays after the first episode of the final season of his show aired, Queer Eye’s Jai Rodriguez is on E!’s Dr. 90210 to visit Will Kirby. While he does not need treatment for an STD like Mike Malin did, he instead requests plastic surgery—specifically, Mario Lopez’s lips. The segment aired during Monday’s episode, and will repeat Thursday night at 8 and throughout this weekend.
“Now that I am reintroducing myself as a singer, I thought that maybe, since a lot of the focus is going to be on my mouth, since I’ll be holding a microphone, we’re just enhancing the natural shape of my already gorgeous Latino lips,” Jai says. His first single, “When Love Turns to Pain,” will be released this month.
On the episode, “I was thinking about going to see a dermatologist,” he says, as if the cameras aren’t in his house because he’s getting plastic surgery. Besides lip injections, he got a chemical peel and Botox injections. Will tells us, “I wanted to make Jai’s lips very kissable, I wanted them to be luscious, but not too over-the-top. With a man, you want it to be little more subtle.” Like getting the work done on cable television.
