ArchivesReality television has given us some strange bedfellows, but this alleged cross-series pairing is perhaps the most unlikely at all.
Gawker first reported that Queer Eye culture guy Jai Rodriguez “was seen by several witnesses at a midtown gay bar recently sucking face with the fallen TV-kitchen hottie responsible for $20 plates of drama, New York meatballs, and more than his mother’s share of agita.”
Today, Gawker follows up with another alleged eyewitness report that is “not a full confirmation.” The spy reports from outside the Bewitched premiere in New York, writing,
“We got in line, turned abround, and saw Jai and Rocco walking toward us. They stood near the bus, debating whether or not to take it with the rest of us (how the mighty [or not] have fallen) when Rocco said something in a low voice to Jai and Jai said out loud ‘yeah, we could grab a drink there. Let’s go’. They took off down the street with this other couple (hetero) that was with them. I saw the couple later at the afterparty, but not Jai and Rocco.”
Yes, that would be The Restaurant’s Rocco DiSpirito.
