ArchivesQueer Eye heads to Dallas, Texas.
Having apparently exhausted the New York metro area’s supply of heterosexual men willing to be made over, the Fab Five will soon head to another bastion of heterosexuality: Texas. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy is now casting in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In a press release that artfully uses Carson’s favorite made-up word, “tszuj,” casting director Maura Tighe says they want “real Texas men,” not “professional actors or performers.” Three episodes will tape late this summer. In preparation for the Fab Five’s invasion, Bravo has even modified the Texas flag with the show’s logo.
