Queer Eye for the Straight Guy has also become Queer Eye for the Lesbian. Writing in The Advocate, Anne Stockwell says “all those hip tips aimed at het men are godsends to gay women too. Until Kyan, Carson, Thom, Ted, and Jai, we ladies were strictly on our own when it came to discovering our inner man-about-town.” She says their book is “broad enough to accommodate fashion neophytes of any gender.” Meanwhile, in addition to moonlighting as the Pier 1 guy, Thom Filicia is going to make over an office as part of a Xerox contest. The copier company is teaming up with Entrepreneur magazine on a “quest to update the most outdated office.” Companies with crappy offices and 10 to 50 employees can apply.
