66-year-old: Fab Five are “gay angels.”
Last night’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy episode featured an atypical participant. Having apparently exhausted the supply of hot 20- and 30-something willing-to-be-made-over straight men in New York who they’d like to bang, the Fab Five made over John Kilcooley. He’s a 66-year-old Korean War veteran who Newsday describes as a “sad, retired widower who had lost interest in most things.” In the Fab Five, he found “gay angels” who helped him change his life, he says. In addition, “They completely changed my attitude.” The episode, number 130, reairs frequently this week.
