NBC and Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy is invading more than 30 countries worldwide. Of those, 20 are in Latin America alone, according to an NBC press release. The show’s format has been sold, meaning each country will recruit their own Fab Five. Interestingly, the press release announcing the sale attempts to coin a new reality TV-related phrase, calling shows like Queer Eye “make better” shows: “Having found a unique niche in which lifestyles clash and everyone finds a common ground, Scout Productions has introduced a new trend in unscripted television, the ‘Make Better’ show.”
