Queer Eye making over fraternity, Gene Simmons; Bravo will air UK episodes.
Weird, isn’t it, how a year ago the nation was obsessed with Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Now, eh. Anyway, as part of their continuing attempts to clean up the entire straight male world, the Fab Five are taking on a fraternity—and Gene Simmons. For the first time, they’re outside of New York, making over a frat house room and a member of that fraternity in Dallas. They’re shooting a total of three episodes during the next three weeks, the Dallas News reports. After that, the Fab Five might tackle another challenging project: KISS frontman Gene Simmons. This is even more shocking because it comes via his blog (yes, Gene Simmons blogs): On Aug. 24, he wrote, “Talked today about a possible (..gulp) QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY appearance. They called and asked me if I would do it. I’m a fan of the show. We may shoot on the 28th of Sept.” In other show news, after airing one episode earlier this summer, Bravo is bringing the series’ first spin-off back home. Starting this week, the network will be airing episodes from the British series Wednesdays at 10.
