ArchivesQueer Eye sold to Australia.
After selling Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’s format to the UK and Scandinavia, NBC has sold the program to Australia’s Network Ten. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the “deal is unusual in that the broadcaster will not only produce its own Australian version of the reality show but will then entrust NBC Enterprises to sell that version to other broadcasters worldwide. This means that NBCE will be selling both the American and Australian versions of ‘Queer Eye’ internationally.” Network Ten will also air the US version of the show starting in Oct., and will work with NBC as they produce the Australian version.
