Archivesad for new Fab Five was “a prank”; cast will get $8K an episode for season two.
The ad that asks for
isn’t looking to replace the original Fab Five nor cast for the planned spinoff Queer Eye for the Straight Girl, according to the show’s producers and network. Scout Productions calls the ad “a prank” while a Bravo spokesperson says “It’s not true. We’re not looking to replace the Fab Five,” according to The Boston Herald’s Inside Track (third item). Also, Bravo has apparently reached a deal with the Fab Five; they’ll each be paid $8,000 an episode, compared to $3,000 an episode they received for the first season. They’ll also get paid for episodes that are repackaged and broadcast on NBC, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
