ad for new Fab Five prompts speculation that originals will be replaced.
An advertisement in the LA cragislist asks for “fabulous Gay men for original upcoming series. … who are comfortable in front of the camera, have terrific personalities as well as a great sense of personal style.” That notice prompted some—including the New York Post’s Page Six, which reports on an e.mail list’s speculation; The Advocate repeats that rumor—to say that Bravo and Scout Productions “might be planning to replace the Fab Five.” Instead, considering news of a spinoff titled Queer Eye for the Straight Girl, they’re probably just looking for a cast for the new show.
