The Queer Eye for the Straight Guy soundtrack is being pushed back from a Dec. 9 release date to Feb. 20. Officially titled What’s That Sound, the soundtrack will be lead by the show’s
theme song, “All Things (Just Keep Getting Better)” by Widelife. Billboard reports the “video was recently shot on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York by director Wayne Isham.” The record also features a number of new tracks by both big and hip artists: Elton John will be contributing “Run for Love,” while Basement Jaxx is contributing “Good Luck.” The album also includes “a previously unreleased Chemical Brothers remix of the new Kylie Minogue single “Slow,” Jamelia’s U.K. hit “Superstar” and a track mixing music from Fischerspooner and Billy Squier,” according to Billboard. Liz Phair will also contribute a song. Additionally, producers plan future “show-related theme records.”
+ plus: Pier One dumps Kirstie Alley and picks up Thom Filicia as its spokesperson.
