Project Runway adds a half-hour chat show to follow its episodes
Lifetime is expanding Project Runway again, this time by adding a half-hour chat show that will follow each 90-minute episode starting this Thursday.
Called “After the Runway,” the series will be hosted by Marie Claire editor Zanna Roberts Rossi and include an interview with the eliminated designer and “will feature in-depth, roundtable debates, and passionate discussions with Runway’s standout designers as they answer pressing questions about what happened both on and off the runway during that evening’s episode,” according to Lifetime.
Lifetime is following in the footsteps of other networks who have done similar post-episode shows. MTV has done “After Shows” for a while, and of course, Bravo’s Andy Cohen got his talk show start doing post-episode chat shows online that sometimes featured interviews with the eliminated contestants, if you can call what he did an “interview.”
