Does Tim Gunn’s outrage mean that Project Runway is better this season?

I confess: the one minute and nine seconds of Project Runway 8 below is the only part of this season that I’ve seen. I gave up during last season, and couldn’t imagine coming back for extended 90-minute episodes.

However, friends and others who still watch tell me this season is a vast improvement over the last two, which were Lifetime and Bunim-Murray’s first two attempts at taking over Bravo’s and Magical Elves’ signature series, the first of which was pretty awful.

One thing people who’ve stuck around have cited is this clip from last week’s episode, during which Tim Gunn goes off on the designers following the eviction. He’s mad, and not the “make it work” robot that he became in Bravo’s final season and Lifetime’s first. I love Tim Gunn, but I still have no desire to tune back in.
