Project Runway will air Thursdays starting Aug. 20; Tim Gunn teases “cheating,” soundstage use
Project Runway 6 will debut on Lifetime on August 20, which is a Thursday, the show’s new day on its new network. It stays at 10 p.m. ET, though.
On May 7, Bravo will debut
Tim also told the paper that the series’ move to Los Angeles left him “dubious for the first few days,” and said they filmed this season at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, but used a soundstage for the runway show.
He’s also teasing some big-time conflict and drama. “There is one challenge where the outcome will send the blogs reeling. It is unprecedented in Project Runway history. I am still full of incredulity about the whole thing — about who wins and who goes home,” he told the Sun-Sentinel.
Likewise, Tim told the Miami Herald, “It’s a great season. I’ll say there’s a big-time shocker, some purported cheating … The blogs will be clogged. They won’t be able to vent enough about it.”
