ArchivesWhen Project Runway 6 moves to Lifetime this November, it will also move its geographic location for the first time in its history and shoot in Los Angeles.
Entertainment Weekly reports that it “has learned from two well-placed sources” about the series’ move to California. Season five, “which debuts on Bravo in July, will be shot in” New York City, according to the magazine. Production is expected to take place in June.
There are no additional details, such as what the means for the show’s typical conclusion at New York Fashion Week in February; there is Fashion Week in Los Angeles, but this spring, it occurred in mid-March, about a month later than the show’s usual schedule.
Earlier, Lifetime promised not to change the show and its president said the show would be “exactly the same,” but apparently that’s not quite true.
