Project Runway has a final four, but only three will be considered during Fashion Week
While five designers presented at Fashion Week, only three will actually be considered to win Project Runway 4, and two designers were supposed to be eliminated last night. Instead, one of the five was sent home (Sweet P), but of the four remaining, only three will actually be considered for the grand prize.
Blogging/producing/hosting/bragging Bravo VP Andy Cohen revealed that in his blog yesterday, which called the episode “the greatest, classiest, power packed episode of ‘Project Runway’ that you’ll see. I love the challenge and the talent and the excitement. Only three make it to fashion week, peoples! Maybe this is the one we should submit for Emmy consideration; it is that good.”
He seemed like a liar for a brief moment, as when just Rami and Chris remained on the runway with only one spot remaining, Heidi Klum said, “Chris, you’re in. Rami, you’re also in. Rami and Chris, we were deadlocked. So we are going to give you both an opportunity to create collections for Fashion Week.”
But no, the show did not decide to again have a final four. Instead, as Heidi explained, both will create collections but that the judges will judge three outfits from each collection and choose one of them to be in the final three. Next week, though, the show airs a reunion episode. The two-part finale will begin Feb. 27 and conclude March 5.
